# mybirth.day

Social Networking · by Fermin Guadalupe Villanueva Salas

## About

Keep the things you want to remember, and give them to the people who were there.

mybirth.day is where a day goes after it happens. You save a memory — a photo, a short video, a voice note, the thing someone said at the table — and you put it on a wall. Then you arrange that wall until it looks like the day actually went, and it stays the way you left it, at an address that is yours.

A WALL, NOT A TIMELINE
A wall is a page of memories at its own address. Nothing arrives on it by algorithm and nothing pushes it down. You drag each memory where you want it and pull a corner to size it. The layout is not decoration over a list — it is the wall.

YOUR BIRTHDAY WALL BUILDS ITSELF
Once a year a wall opens at your own name, and the people who follow you can write on it. It stays open for a week rather than for the day, because nobody writes the thing they actually meant to write while they are still at the party.

A MEMORY IS YOURS BEFORE IT IS ANYWHERE
Save one now and decide where it belongs later. A memory sitting on no wall is a real place for it to be, not a draft. The same memory can go on more than one wall, and taking it off a wall is not the same as deleting it.

WALLS YOU MAKE
A wedding, a trip, a year, a project, someone you miss. You choose who can read a wall and who can add to it, and those are two separate settings — so a memorial can be open to read and closed to write.

A PAGE AT YOUR OWN NAME
mybirth.day/yourname is a page that represents you: your walls, your links, your people. Follow someone and their birthday turns up in your calendar with a reminder before it comes around.

EVENTS
A time, a place, and the people you asked. Hand out a code and let them join.

WRITTEN THE WAY YOU MEANT IT
Choose the colour a memory sits on and the face it is set in. Add a photo from your library, take one now, record a video, or just say it out loud.

NOT A PLACE TO BUILD AN AUDIENCE
There is no reach, no ranking, and no counter rewarding you for posting more often than you meant to. Following someone here means their birthday lands in your calendar. It is not an audience you are growing, and we are not going to help you grow one.

WHY THERE IS A PLAN
There are no ads to sell and nothing is ranked, so there is nothing to gain from your attention. What pays for that is the plan, which means you are the customer — and that, rather than any feature, is what the money buys. Your birthday page and your welcome page are free and stay free. The plan adds walls for occasions you name, and puts more of a wall on the page. It is bought and cancelled on mybirth.day.

WHAT IS PUBLIC
Walls are public unless you set one to friends & family, and a profile is a public page. Reporting and blocking are built into every wall and every profile, and a person reads every report.
