Bidding runs the whole week, Thursday included. Totals are cumulative — each payment adds to yours and is charged straight away. The single highest total when Thursday closes takes the homepage for the following Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Everyone who paid keeps their place in the feed and a permanent line in the archive. Totals reset on Friday so week one's bidders can never block week five's.
